Abstract: With ongoing budget cuts, and the resulting greater expectations of fiscal accountability, many institutional administrators are asking Institutional Support and Service Centers, which don’t typically generate revenue (e.g. Centers for Teaching and Learning, Instructional Technology Centers and Academic Libraries) to quantify their value, worth and ultimately their return-on-investment to support and promote student academic success. This presentation shares how one Institutional Support and Service Center built capacity, addressed challenges, engaged stakeholders, identified strategic partners, and employed multiple strategies to accomplish this. The audience will learn the steps involved in order to successfully adapt and adopt this model for their benefit.
