Abstract: This proposed poster will define some of the ways students with special needs are currently being served in Virtual Schools. The work examined includes prevalence of students with special needs in Virtual Schools, how IEP requirements such as accommodations and modifications are being addressed, difficulties students with special needs are facing in virtual schools, and parental involvement. Future work with teachers of students with special needs is required to help better serve their unique learning needs.
