Share Paper: Effectiveness of the SMART Board in the Secondary Mathematics Classroom

Abstract: This study investigated the uses and effectiveness of SMART boards in the secondary mathematics classroom. Twenty-four teachers were filled out a survey that aimed at examining how they use the SMART board in their classroom and how it has impacted student motivation and academic achievement. The researchers correlated the demographic information, SMART board use, and satisfaction. The results show that teachers use the SMART board very frequently, but most of them use it simply a whiteboard.
