Abstract: A challenge that Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Innovation (STEMI) faces is to speedily renew human capital. In South Africa, a key intervention for achieving this goal is the Youth into Science Strategy. Social network sites support and encourage individuals to learn together in their own time and space. The question that this paper addresses is: How do SNS assist human capital development for STEMI?
