ID: 45260
Abstract: This paper is a report on new work to explore the use of student created screencasts to prompt reflection of course assignments. Students in a computer science course were asked to create a screencast as part of larger assignments in a course. Initial observations on the value of these screencasts in assessing student work and prompting student reflection are presented. Initial results are promising and plans for future work are discussed.
