Abstract: With multiple campuses and academic centers around the world, NYU has been seeking innovative ways to connect students and bring learning into a global context. With collaborative tools such as video conferencing, web conferencing, and collaborative writing spaces, the global classroom provides students with a channel to the world. Its intention is to build connections and establish collaborations across vast physical spaces in order to explore the global within the frame of the local.
