Abstract: This project developed, implemented, and evaluated an online model for training Internationally Educated Professionals. It provided them with an opportunity to develop professional language proficiencies (soft skills) and intercultural sensitivity for the workplace. The expected outcome was to enhance workplace integration and leadership roles within their field. To test the model, an existing face-to-face course, Conversation Management, was adapted to an online format and delivered using Blackboard Learning Management System and Elluminate Live (Blackboard Collaborate). Research results showed improvement for both soft skills and intercultural sensitivity, demonstrating the model’s capacity to positively influence both competencies within a 30-hour course offering.
