Abstract: The challenge of making online course content accessible is one faced by all colleges and universities. Through its Online Accessibility Committee, Drexel University has developed a forum for all constituents to voice their concerns about this topic called the Conversation Model. The concept of a conversation has proven to be an effective and easy- to-implement model that opens lines of communications, ensures that all constituents are heard and gives the Committee and University opportunities to respond in a positive and results-focused manner. This paper provides an overview of the Conversation Model and recommendations for using it with the goal of enabling other colleges and universities to implement a similar initiative.
