Effects and Problems of Learning Activities of University Students with Mobile Terminal
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to propose a learning method for “Information Technology Passport Examination (ITPE)” defined as a subdivision of Japan Information Technology Engineers Examination (ITEE) given by Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan, to create a learning system for ITPE, which is predicted using mobile terminal, and to examine its efficiency in university students. After we investigated the learning efficiency of the university students by experiment and carried out a t-test for the achievement scores using regression analysis with the students grouped by (1) the number of login attempts in the learning system and by (2) the number of solved problems, the attained significance level of less than 1% proved that the learning efficiency of the students who had quite often used the learning system constructed in this study was relatively larger than that of others.
