Share Paper: Clicking LAMS: Participative Philosophy in both offline and online learning

Abstract: Nanyang Technological University has long embarked on online and blended learning initiatives from more than 10 years ago. Two important learning tools used are the Clickers (Learner Response Systems) and LAMS (Learning Activity Management System). The overaching philosophy that ties all these initiatives together is participative learning opportunites that we provide for students using affordances in these tools and making it a coherent whole. In this session, the pedagogical underpinnings, the implementation process, key challenges and learning moments and our future vision will be shared.
