Integrating technology into a multicultural education course for preservice teachers

Abstract: Technology integration has been emphasized in higher education for several decades. Many colleges and universities now offer online courses and encourage faculty to incorporate technology into courses. In the present study, the author incorporates technology-based projects in her multicultural education course. Students will be assigned to create either a wiki or digital storytelling for their course projects. After they finish projects they will respond to a survey created by the author. The purpose of presentation is to discuss the procedures and results of the study and share students’ final products.
