Abstract: This presentation will draw on qualitative data generated from both online and face to face interactions with classroom teachers throughout a teacher research professional development program in one school district in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The presenters will describe the pedagogical activities designed by the presenters and those designed by teachers to expand students' literacies and perspectives on knowledge, community and ways of being in the world.
