Abstract: This presentation will discuss an ongoing dissertation study. The purpose of this study is to identify stages of concerns cited by Nigerian instructors toward the implementation of information and communication technological innovations such as the Internet and its tools for instructional purposes. The Stages of Concern questionnaire (Hall, George & Rutherford, 1979) will be used to quantitatively assess and identify the feelings, perceptions and motivations that an instructor might have toward a technological innovation such as the Internet for instructional purposes.
