Abstract: E-learning technologies have expanded learning opportunities in higher education institutes. There are many challenges for online instructors. The biggest change is how to correctly incorporate pedagogy that supports student learning while realizing maximum potentials of these new delivery systems. For successful facilitation of knowledge to take place, instructors must make students partners in the process, help them learn to reflect, and focus on outcomes rather than technology itself. In this paper I will discuss key pedagogical approaches to increasing students’ ownership in E-learning and its implications.
