NATALIYA REZNICHENKO

Dr. Nataliya Reznichenko is Associate Professor of Mathematics at the BCCC. She holds BS and MS in Engineering Physics and Minor in Mathematics from the Moscow State Engineering Physics University in Russia and Doctor of Education in Mathematics Education from the Morgan State University in US.

Biography

Dr. Reznichenko's experience in teaching field at the institutions of higher education includes over 20 years of work in Ukraine and over 17 years of work in the US. As an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the BCCC, former adjunct faculty at the CCBC Essex and Towson University, she has applied teaching skills at the Community College and University levels in diverse multicultural environment in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Dr. Reznichenko’s major goal as a researcher is to analyze students’ attitudes and perceptions regarding the use of technology—such as but not limited to graphing calculators (GC) and computers-- as cognitive tools in mathematics learning and students’ experiences with technology through the lens of social constructivism.
