Kuei-Chih Chuang

Dr. KC Chuang is current associate professor of Electronic Engineering at University in Taiwan. He has been teaching in electrical & electronic engineering, in which related to computer in Technology Education, & working at industrial technology & manufacturing experience for over 30 years.

Biography

Dr. Kuei-Chih KC Chuang is both current associate professor of Graduate School of Technological and Vocational Education and Center for Teacher Education in National Yunlin University of Science & Technology. Dr. Chuang also is as a Board of Director of Ohio Chinese American Professional Association (OCAPA) and President of Yun-Lin Natural Agriculture Development Association (NADA) in both United States and Taiwan.

Dr. Chuang was a Co-Chair of Ohio Chinese American Professional Association (OCAPA) that held the 1999 conference at The Ohio State University in Columbus, USA. He also was the president of OCAPA during 1999-2000. Dr. Chuang was the vice-president of Chinese American Association of Central Ohio (CAACO) during 1998-1999.

Dr. KC Chuang obtained his master degree in Industrial Technology Education and doctoral degree in Technology Education from The Ohio State University in 1995, 1998. He also obtained a bachelor degree Ed. with electronic and computer information at the Department of Industrial Education from National Taiwan Normal University. And he obtained an associate degree in Department Electronic Engineering from National Taipei University of Technology, He received the graduate program of Control System Engineering at National Chiao-Tung University, Electrical Engineering program at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Semi-Conductors program at National Tsing-Hua University during 1984-1986. His Dissertation topic is: “AN INVESTIGATION OF THE APPLICATION OF COMPUTERS AS AN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY TOOL IN TAIWAN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION PROGRAMS”. His professional areas of emphases included Teaching Pedagogy, Curriculum Development & Design, Digital Curriculum and Teaching Material Development, Instructional Media, Multimedia Instructional Design, Electrical & Electronic Technology, Application of Internet to Instruction, E-Learning, Adult Learning & Education training program, Technological & Vocational Education, STS, MST- program, Internship in International Education, and HRD & TRAINING Development.
