Biography
Huiwen is a professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Berkeley College. She received her B.S. degree and M.A. degree from Tamkang University in Taiwan and master and doctor degrees from Penn State University. At Berkeley College, she teaches online, onsite and blended class in social sciences. Her research interest involves transformative learning, identity and critical thinking, and adult self-directed learning. Her recent interest is to study the effects of active learning in a blended class.
