Using Online Social Networking

This study investigates the reasons of using facebook by male and female graduate students at Middle East Technical University. Qualitative interviews were conducted with students to identify why males and females use facebook, and for what purposes do they use facebook. As the result of this study, the differences between male and female students in using facebook and reasons of using facebook were identified, so that educators might benefit by learning about the potential of facebook to be used for educational purposes.
