Transitioning from an intensive week-long professional development event to online programming was a process that was intensive and iterative in the design phase. Moving to an asynchronous or extended synchronous program was not an option given the originally budgeted time frames for this professional development, as well as would not have met the goals for our programming. How have you adapted intensive (multiple hours a day) professional development given the challenge of Covid, or in response to other needs? Also, we typically serve rural educators from throughout the state? How have you leveraged synchronous or hybrid PD to support rural educators?
