Abstract: During the summer of 2022, we partnered with a public College of Education. We provided a one-week professional development on open-source LMS to educators who volunteered to participate in this PD. We successfully trained 30 educators from various academic departments. This study aimed to explore educators piloting of open-source LMS. There’s a dearth of technology integration, especially a college-wide adoption of LMS across Nigeria’s tertiary institutions. The findings will provide action research-based data for other educators regarding the benefits and challenges experienced through the piloting of LMS. The findings will also benefit the administrators in ways to devise a means for college-wide adoption of LMS for teaching and learning purposes across Nigeria’s colleges and universities.
