Solar Eclipse Opportunities for Teaching & Learning: 2023 Oct. 14 and 2024 April 8

Two solar eclipses are soon crossing the USA, creating a learning opportunity for viewers that will not be repeated until 2045. On Oct. 14, 2023, an Annular Eclipse will cross from Oregon to Texas, and on April 8, 2024, a Total Solar Eclipse will transit from Texas to Maine and be observable in partial or total stage by almost all in the continental US.

Welcome everyone... Totality for the 2024 April 8 eclipse will likely pass over many of your classrooms and homes. It will be more than 4 minutes long in some places in the USA and 60 miles wide. ... a rare viewing and learning experience for most.
