Abstract: Creation-based augmented reality platforms are an emerging technology that allow users to design, develop, and deliver content in the form of augmented reality without having to code. However, within the field of educational research, these platforms have not been critically analyzed. In response, a content analysis was conducted to determine the functionalities of creation-based augmented reality platforms, and the researchers refined the Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition model, so they could use it to guide their analysis.
