Abstract: This paper discusses the relationship between an online bachelor’s degree and the effects of Covid-19 and the pandemic on course enrollment at East Carolina University (ECU). This paper examines if distance education students took more, less or the same number of classes during the Fall 2021 semester. It also discusses the rationale behind the students’ decisions.
