Abstract: As an educator who has taught exclusively online for several years, I would like to share some of what I have learned about the role rubrics can play when teaching online. There are many pedagogies utilized in the online world outside of traditional quizzes and tests. Discussions, reflections, papers, and multimedia projects are deployed more often in online classes. The session will contain a list of hints, tips, and general information about how to construct and utilize the various types of rubrics. Rubrics come in many shapes and sizes. Discussion, group work, and project rubrics will be discussed in detail. The use of rubrics with younger learners will also be addressed.

No presider for this session.
