Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has turned education on its head for more than a year. Schools, including colleges and universities, had to take extraordinary steps in a short period of time to mitigate the risks of a highly infectious disease in the middle of a semester. Halfway through the spring 2020 term, many schools transformed their classrooms into an online format to help prevent the spread of infection. This paper will outline both successful and failed methods to quickly build up a college curriculum while moving from a traditionally in-person model to a virtual one.
