Share Paper: Pre-service Teachers' ICT Competency in China: Status, Group Comparison and Cultivation Advice

Abstract: In order to comprehensively investigate the achievements and problems in the cultivation of ICT Competency of pre-service teachers at all levels of normal universities in China, a questionnaire was conducted for graduates and freshmen of 20 normal universities. The results show that the ICT competency of pre-service teachers is not high as a whole, and it is significantly different among different types of colleges, grades, majors and districts.
