Abstract: This paper presents initial findings from one cohort of undergraduate students who used social media as part of a semester-long intercultural learning project. While the larger project has a broad scope of exploring the different ways in which students’ use of social media could potentially support their intercultural development, this particular cohort was examined for the purpose of identifying their social media usage patterns and uncovering relationships between these usage patterns and their intercultural development.
