Abstract: There has been increasing interest in the field of K-12 education regarding the integration of technology to improve student learning outcomes. In the past, several research studies have documented positive outcomes of using mobile technology on students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Several students with disabilities show persistent challenges in solving math problems. Students with ASD show academic and behavioral challenges and need evidence-based practices designed for this population. Video-based interventions have supported students with ASD in academics, social, behavioral, functional, and communication skills. This presentation highlights the role of video modeling in teaching math problems to students with ASD with the use of available apps in a middle school classroom.
