Abstract: In this project, we are going to present the pedagogical usability dimensions we employed in the design of a learning module for an online eight-week course on Digital Media for undergraduate and graduate students at a Mid-west university, USA. Pedagogical usability can be understood as the optimizations of interactions with all elements in the instructional design of the learning environment to enable learners to achieve learning goals with positive learning experiences. When designing the module, dimensions of pedagogical usability we took into consideration include: learning objectives, learning activities and interaction, assessment, and content.
