Abstract: In these turbulent times as pervasive inequalities flood our world, technology and education provides a platform for needed social change. The effects of inequalities on educational outcomes must be examined and actively addressed. Teacher Education and Educational Leadership programs can use technology to advance educational equity and to transform schools, communities, and lives. Developing candidates' knowledge and skills by focusing on technology and equity offers hope towards sustainable transformation and justice. Technology platforms can help in effectively supporting the diverse needs of historically and socially marginalized learners living in today’s rapidly changing, global society. Multimodal technological platforms provide viable pathways to expand learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom and to build inclusive learning environments. Addressing systems of oppression requires global visions and innovative solutions. Technology resources focused on promoting intercultural learning, affirming diversity, and advancing equity education will be shared in this interactive presentation, along with multimedia tools and resources for P-12 schools and universities.
