Abstract: In this symposium we will present case studies from different places in the world from the the book “collaborative learning in a global world”. This book is intended to survey the current state of the field and provide practical examples to help meet the gaps in research, development and practice. The symposium will relate to the following topics: theory, attitudes, and implementation; collaborative learning connecting cultures; collaboration in teacher-education programs and Assessment and evaluation.
