Abstract: This paper considers the emerging role of immersive technologies as educational tools that enhance experiential learning opportunities by providing authentic interactions to support global engagement through the use of VR and telepresence tools. These strategies allow access to resources and settings previously unattainable by students in their limited, physical classroom space and location.
