Abstract: The purpose of this collaborative project is to support early childhood preservice teacher preparation and teacher professional development in Alaska so more teachers are competent and confident to teach using 21st century teaching pedagogies through integrated arts and cultural experiences. These pedagogies include building a curriculum that is culturally responsive, connecting and integrating content in the curriculum in a meaningful way particularly with an arts-rich focus, and one that uses the 4Cs of 21st Century Skills framework.
