Exploring Instructors’ Understanding and Application of TPACK Model in an Online Teaching at National Open University of Nigeria
Abstract: This roundtable session will provide the researchers with an opportunity to share the design of a study that will explore Instructors' Understanding and Application of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) Model in an online teaching at National Open University of Nigeria. Mishra and Koehlers' TPACK model form the theoretical framework for this study. The study will also seek to explore the relationship between TPACK's components and instructors' understanding of online teaching. The population for this study will comprised all the 2,749 instructors across the country from all the 57 study centers. Data will collected using an adapted survey instrument, and the generated data will be analyzed in 2 ways. First, responses from research questions 1 and 2 will be analyzed using a simple descriptive statistical techniques. While responses from research questions 3 and 4 will be analyzed using appropriate statistical technique.
