Abstract: Online learning is an area in which language administrators and faculty have many fears and concerns. Many schools question where to begin and how to get started. Language acquisition programs have been slower at adopting a virtual option for their programs than their academic counterparts. Participants in this virtual showcase will learn tools and strategies for beginning the process of incorporating online learning (hybrid/fully online) into the language classroom by learning from the perspectives of a language program that has begun to convert to an online format. By working as a collaborative team, programs can begin to tackle the conversion to an online format by learning from the framework established and perfected by a team of practitioners and administrators.
