Abstract: We always have questions that need to be answered, problems to be solved, and if our knowledge today is sufficient to account for these issues, surely soon it will not be. The objective of this article is to understand the relationship between the universe of the internet and its search engines with the information literacy, especially for the students in undergraduate Business Administration degree. They are mostly 'digital native', but when the teacher asks how they will do some search the unanimous answer would be 'Google'. The search engine aims to bring what we need, but we may not have the illusion that technology is neutral and it will be at our service without any interest. Nowadays seems difficult to separate information literacy from IT searches. Due to the abundance of information and its rapidly obsolescence, teachers, students and business administration professionals must know how to better use the search engines.
