Abstract: Twenty-first century students need to develop skills in critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity and innovation (the Four C’s) in order to compete in the new global community. There is a multitude of iPad apps that can help students develop these skills as they develop content knowledge in the Three R’s. IPads can be tools that engage students as they develop essential skill and knowledge.
