Abstract: The teaching of basic literacy and numeracy is an essential part of the curriculum of primary schools. Consequently, it has become an important in the teacher-training program and has been given a significant place in the curriculum. This paper reports on the experiences from a part of the teacher-training program where students are asked to evaluate digital tools that aim to support the teaching of basic literacy and numeracy skills.
