Abstract: We developed digital resources providing teachers with wise-practice curriculum materials that were scaffolded with opportunities for professional development. Then, in two separate investigations, we followed six teachers as they planned and implemented lessons designed from encounters with those materials. Here we identify interface design principles related to constructing digital resources for teachers, and answer the question: Do teachers interact with “educatively” scaffolded digital resources in substantially different ways from traditional curriculum materials?
