Abstract: In this paper the authors report on pre-service teachers' and qualified teachers’ vision of education in 2026. It also looks at vision of participants in relation to their self-reported expertise and behavioural intentions to use technology in the future. The research is both qualitative and quantitative in its approach and is based on questionnaire responses from pre-service and in-service students in the authors’ institutions. The ‘visions’ were analysed and categorized, and compared with responses to data obtained from other questions, Technological issues predominate in the vision described by the students.
