Abstract: The College of Education at Tennessee Technological University is transforming learning experiences for pre-service teachers, practicing teachers, and their present and “future” students through dynamic extensive interaction with various instructional technologies. The presentation will show how acquiring technology resources, facilitating curriculum and professional development, and providing community outreach, “real” changes have been made in teaching and learning. Presenters will show how the College of Education at Tennessee Technological University is using technology and project-based approaches to create meaningful learning experiences for university students (bachelor to doctorate level), community teachers (rural and urban), and P-12 students. The discussion will address how technological resources, curricular examination, professional development, and community outreach can facilitate “real” change. The session will also include lessons learned, and how the new approach and technology access has enriched experiences for all constituents.
