Abstract: After the recent pandemic, a time when an immediate pivot from traditional classroom learning to online learning presented educators with the challenge of finding effective methods for teaching and learning, instruction primarily has returned to on-ground classroom settings. Due to this unprecedented interruption and shift in how educators performed their jobs, traditional classroom teachers now have experience with both online and on-ground instruction. These teachers have been trained on various teaching strategies and on how to apply standards of teaching excellence to their classrooms, both on ground and online. The researchers reviewed the implementation of classroom instructional strategies by teacher candidates two years after the pandemic to determine progress of look-fors or skills for enhanced learning. Three distinct areas of improvement were noted.
