Abstract: The purpose of this presentation is to improve technology integration for pre-service teachers during their field experience. Fundamental technology competencies would be ideal for pre-service teachers to demonstrate during their field experiences (Brush et al., 2008). Pre-service teachers can learn how to successfully integrate technology, pedagogy, and content into their lessons. The Synthesis of Qualitative Evidence (SQD) model (Tondeur, et al., 2012) is a tool that focuses on seven domains that can be used to assess pre-service teachers' self-efficacy when implementing technology, pedagogy, and content. Tondeur et al (2009), states that “technology integration needs to be infused as a systemic aspect throughout the entire program rather than a presented in a separate “stand-alone” course (Polly et al., 2010; Strudler, et al., 2003). It is essential that preservice teachers are provided a purposeful opportunity to expertly apply their knowledge rather than knowing a plethora of technology information.
