Abstract: The current teaching practices of PK-12 teachers in 1:1 technology environments are not equipping students with the necessary technology skills. These practices put their future career and academic success at risk. This indicates that teachers either do not know what technology skills their students need or that they do not know how to help their students gain the necessary technology skills. This discussion will help PK-12 teachers, teacher educators, administrators, etc. work together to address this issue. Participants will have constructive conversations, share experiences and resources, and brainstorm solutions.
