Abstract: In this brief paper I explain and critique an educational technology app (AWW App) and the ways it contributes to collaboration and sharing for remote students. One of the most important parts of education is student collaboration during classroom discussions. With distance learning being the platform of many young students during this pandemic, the learning environment has been transformed into a computer screen. The AWW App is a touch-friendly online whiteboard that allows for both real-time collaboration and collaborative brainstorming. Although distance learning will continue to have its challenges for educators, this is one tool that may help motivate and engage students by allowing them to actively participate in the lesson.
