Share Paper: The Role of the Instructor in Asynchronous Learning: Students' Views

Abstract: Online courses and online learning are becoming a mainstay of universities and college course offerings. This has caused the role of the teacher or instructor to evolve in online learning and asynchronous learning. This research is a survey on students’ views on the role of the instructor in asynchronous learning. Data were gathered from 102 university students (68 female and 34 male) to validate the 15-item Likert-type scale on the role of the instructor in asynchronous learning.
