Don’t talk to me, I don’t want to hear your voice, I just want my work: A look at graduate student perceptions of online instructional delivery methods
Abstract: This quantitative study was a comparative analysis of instructional video/visual techniques utilized by professors in online graduate programs. Graduate students enrolled in online courses were surveyed to determine their perceptions of the best and worst instructional video or visual techniques used in their courses. The study utilized a Likert-scale to determine the levels of satisfaction with each video or visual technique. Descriptive statistics were gathered and analyzed. Data revealed a significant difference in the video or visual techniques preferred by students enrolled in graduate programs. The survey found that students prefer to do the work independently, either without videos or videos without the instructor.
