Abstract: This study aimed at examining a smartphone-based mindfulness intervention effect on college students’ changes of passion in smartphone use and creativity mindset. Participants were 84 college students. Two instrument were employed: the Inventory of Passion towards Smart Phones measured four types of passion: Harmonious-intrapersonal passion, Harmonious-interpersonal passion, Obsessive-intrapersonal passion, and Obsessive-interpersonal passion. Creativity Mindset Inventory measured four types of creativity mindset: growth-internal control, growth-external control, fixed-internal control, and fixed-external control.
