Abstract: With the abundance of online learning and educational technology tools, big data is everywhere. Data literacy skills are now becoming more of a necessity to perform evaluations. However, a survey of over 9,000 full-time employees revealed that 74% of them are unhappy or overwhelmed when working with data. The purpose of this study is to explore the use of data in evaluation, and to understand attitudes towards data. By doing so, the design of data literacy training can be improved, which leads to better skills for evaluating e-learning.
