Abstract: Purdue University Global’s Professional Global Communication course starts with discussion about and implementation of the Community of Practice (CofP), and in this case, it is a group of students who use discussion threads and live seminars to learn and share knowledge. During the weekly discussions and live seminars, students debate about beliefs, values, power relations, diversity, equity, and inclusion issues (DEI) and share their experiences with intercultural and cross-cultural global communications.
